  2018 - Dominican Republic - Mission Trips

                 A D.E.A.F. team will travel to the Dominican republic to continue a Mission Trip outside of the Capital District, focusing on local pastors and churches, orphanages, and Score International Team Members . This follows our strategy of planning projects aimed at reaching Deaf in the Dominican Republic.

This Mission trip will cost approximately $2,000 plus your passport, immunizations and personal money. For more information, contact us through our email address above.

2018 - Western New York Deaf Retreat Camp: June  1-3, 2018      Cost is $80 per person

This annual event is held at Odosagih Bible Conference Center, Machias, NY, on beautiful Lime Lake. The speaker this year will be Jim Sloan. Sponsored by Mrs. Lois Dungan of Christian Deaf Ministries and co-hosted by D.E.A.F. President Steve Blann.

2018-19 American Sign Language Classes - 

Classes held at North Syracuse Baptist Church, 420 South Main Street, North Syracuse, NY.

* Conversational Sign Language Class - Level 1: Instructer to be announced – Monday nights 6:30 – 8:30 PM. Classes are held in the “VandeMark Deaf Chapel”

* Conversational Sign Language Class - Level 2: Instructer to be announced - Tuesday nights 6:30 – 8:30 PM. Classes are held in the “VandeMark Deaf Chapel”

* Advanced Sign Language Class: Instructer to be announced - Tuesday nights 6:30 – 8:30 PM. Classes held in Room #103 (Next to the VandMark Chapel)

("Advanced Sign Langage Class" is designed to bring individuals from Conversational Skills to Interpreting Skills, such as used in Churches, Ministries, Schools, business, etc.)

2018 Fall/winter Semester for all classes begin date to be announced

2018 - 7th International Costa Rica Deaf Camp, March 28-31, 2018

March 28-31, 2018, we will once again co-sponsor this life changing event with Pastor Pablo Ramirez and our Missionary Pastor Cristian Munoz. Deaf arriving in San Jose, Costa Rica from all over the Americas, will participate in this Christ focused event. We will share the Gospel with those who have never heard before and teach life principles to Deaf people attending this camp
