Dear Brethren, we hope that our Lord Jesus Christ blesses you abundantly. Thank you very much for remembering us in your prayers that are of support to our ministry. Thanks for the financial support and we hope that our God will reward you abundantly. Thanks for being a part of the ministry to the Deaf in Barva, Heredia, Costa Rica

We thank God because His grace and mercy is always with you; and we also thank our Lord for the opportunities that He gives us to share with you what is happening in the ministry.

Thanks to God for the visits that we have been able to realize during recent months.

We especially thank God because He changed the attitude of a mom of one of our Deaf girls that attends our church. She was indifferent when we visited her daughter, but has changed and now that mom is concerned that her daughter will attend Church regularly. We pray for that mom to also receive Jesus in her heart since she has not made that decision yet.

We also give thanks for a Deaf couple that is being disciple. We hope that they will be consistent.

Every Tuesday night we meet with the Deaf to study the Bible and they are happy for all that they are learning about the Bible. We pray for God to give wisdom in their learning.

Brethren, we ask you to pray for the Deaf to be consistent in attending our church, because the enemy is always trying to divert their attention. We also ask you to pray for the parents to have their support and not be an obstacle for their children’s’ spiritual growth.

We give thanks and glory to God for His perfect work and for Jose's salvation, a 47 year old Deaf man that tried to commit suicide. Jose has a wife and children, but some problems in his life made him think about suicide. God rescued him, and now his heart belongs to Christ. He lives in Guapiles, approximately two hours away from Barva, Heredia (our Church’s location).

We pray that there can be a ministry to the Deaf established in the Baptist Church in that place so that other Deaf there can also come to know Christ. Jose said that he will visit our Church to receive the Word and we hope to have him with us soon.
